About this product
Ukir pot of polystone from Indonesia, 60 to 100 cm high: a relief of curling tendrils, leaves and flowers runs all round the wall. Towards the base the pot tapers slightly. On the raised parts the grey-brown is light, almost beige, and darker in the recesses. On top lies a thick, flat rim around a round opening, with a narrow band of small motifs below it. Handmade from polystone (resin, stone powder and cement) and coloured by hand; colour, texture and size vary per piece. Not waterproof: use indoors with an inner pot. Outdoors, polystone weathers and the pot can lose colour: treat it with an impregnating sealer so that water runs off the pot instead of soaking into the material; the colour becomes slightly darker as a result.
