About this product
Pot of polystone from Indonesia, 65 to 80 cm high: on a cream-white ground, patterns run round the pot in horizontal bands. Between the bands run geometric borders with zigzag or diamond motifs. At the top a raised rim surrounds the opening. Towards the base the pot becomes slightly narrower. Handmade from polystone (resin, stone powder and cement) and coloured by hand; colour, texture and size vary per piece. Not waterproof: use indoors with an inner pot. Outdoors, polystone weathers and the pot can lose colour: treat it with an impregnating sealer so that water runs off the pot instead of soaking into the material; the colour becomes slightly darker as a result.
