About this product
Polystone pot from Indonesia with a bumpy skin like that of a guava; the pot is 50 to 80 cm high and tapers below the rounded shoulder towards the base. In Wagir Brown, sand-coloured patches lie between the bumps on the dark grey-brown, and a rust-brown tint shows at the top. The shoulder curves inwards to a round opening with a narrow rim. Handmade from polystone (resin, stone powder and cement) and coloured by hand; colour, texture and size vary per piece. Not waterproof: use indoors with an inner pot. Outdoors, polystone weathers and the pot can lose colour: treat it with an impregnating sealer so that water runs off the pot instead of soaking into the material; the colour becomes slightly darker as a result.
