About this product
Dongdong pot in polystone from Indonesia with a band of zigzag relief around the body: a 50 cm high, bulbous pot with a narrow neck and a flared rim. In the grooves and between the zigzag lines the grey turns lighter, almost white. A ring sits below the neck, and horizontal grooves run above and below the zigzag band. Handmade from polystone (resin, stone powder and cement) and coloured by hand; colour, texture and size vary per piece. Not waterproof: use indoors with an inner pot. Outdoors, polystone weathers and the pot can lose colour: treat it with an impregnating sealer so that water runs off the pot instead of soaking into the material; the colour becomes slightly darker as a result.
