About this product
Tebeng statue, 105 cm high and made of polystone from Indonesia: against a back panel, a figure with several arms stands on an animal lying down. A smaller figure sits on the animal beside the standing one. The main figure wears a headdress, jewellery and a decorated belt. The back panel slopes at the top, and the surface is dark grey-brown with red-brown and light patches. Handmade from polystone (resin, stone powder and cement) and coloured by hand; colour, texture and size vary per piece. Outdoors, polystone weathers and the piece can lose colour: treat it with an impregnating sealer so that water runs off instead of soaking into the material; the colour becomes slightly darker as a result.
