About this product
Teak lion from Indonesia, 460 cm long, carved by hand and crouching low in a stalking pose, with its mouth open in a roar. The carving shows the mane, the teeth and the muscles along its body. The teak is left untreated, so the grain stays visible, as do the cracks and tool marks in the raw surface. The lion is 150 cm high.
