About this product

Roots tiered stand carries round, flat discs with growth rings at different heights: the piece is 60 to 150 cm high and made of teak root from Indonesia. Between the discs, the untreated teak root rises irregularly to pointed tips at the top. The time-worn wood is a light sandy colour, with dark hollows and cracks. The stand can also be placed outdoors, unsheltered. The teak root comes from a tree that was felled earlier; no new tree was cut for it.
