About this product
Roots bar stool standing on a base of spreading roots, with a hollowed saddle seat: the stool is 75 cm high and made of teak root and metal from Indonesia. A straight trunk rises beneath the seat, and low down a dark metal footrest curves around the front. The untreated teak root is light, with grain lines along the trunk and small holes and cracks in the roots. The teak root comes from a tree that was felled earlier; no new tree was cut for it.
