Product information

About this product

Roots teak root decoration from Indonesia, 50 cm long: an irregularly shaped piece with grooves along the grain and offshoots that end in splintered points. Holes and hollows break up the light brown surface, which is rough and fibrous between the grooves. The wood is solid and deliberately left untreated. The teak root comes from a tree that was felled earlier; no new tree was cut for it.
