About this product
Roots bench, 120 to 200 cm long and made of teak root from Indonesia: the hollowed seat rests on four round, gnarled legs and rises at the back and sides into a low backrest. The legs are knotty and set at a slight angle under the seat. Cracks and rings show in the seat; the untreated, time-worn teak root is light greyish beige. The teak root comes from a tree that was felled earlier; no new tree was cut for it.
