About this product
Moon sculpture shows two faces that touch at the nose and lips, their eyes closed: the sphere is 40 cm long and made of polystone from Indonesia. The eyelids are rounded and smooth. In the grooves around the eyes and noses, the colour is darker than on the rust-brown and white mottled sphere. Handmade from polystone (resin, stone powder and cement) and coloured by hand; colour, texture and size vary per piece. Outdoors, polystone weathers and the piece can lose colour: treat it with an impregnating sealer so that water runs off instead of soaking into the material; the colour becomes slightly darker as a result.
