About this product
Moon Kepala sculpture of grey and brown mottled polystone from Indonesia: the 50 cm long head of an old man, laughing with his eyes almost closed. On one side, the cheek bulges out like a ball beside the nose. Fine lines sit beside the eyes, and below the laughing mouth, folds run down into the chin. Handmade from polystone (resin, stone powder and cement) and coloured by hand; colour, texture and size vary per piece. Outdoors, polystone weathers and the piece can lose colour: treat it with an impregnating sealer so that water runs off instead of soaking into the material; the colour becomes slightly darker as a result.
