About this product
Konggo 2 sculpture has a bald, round head on a thin neck: the stylised figure is 170 to 220 cm high and made of polystone from Indonesia. The eyes are closed, and below the straight nose sits a narrow mouth. On the head, the surface is speckled with small pits. From the shoulders, the body runs down as a rectangular block, with the arms against it. Handmade from polystone (resin, stone powder and cement) and coloured by hand; colour, texture and size vary per piece. Outdoors, polystone weathers and the piece can lose colour: treat it with an impregnating sealer so that water runs off instead of soaking into the material; the colour becomes slightly darker as a result.
