About this product
Ganesha statue with its trunk curled to one side, seated on a rectangular base: the figure is 70 cm high and made of polystone from Indonesia. An ornate crown sits on the head, and raised hands beside the ears hold objects. A decorated band runs across the belly. The red-brown surface turns greyish white in the hollows of the relief. Handmade from polystone (resin, stone powder and cement) and coloured by hand; colour, texture and size vary per piece. Outdoors, polystone weathers and the piece can lose colour: treat it with an impregnating sealer so that water runs off instead of soaking into the material; the colour becomes slightly darker as a result.
